Tony from Plumb Right Services is very reliable and organised. He turned up on time on three different occasions after fitting the job in at short notice, which was to fix a faulty boiler. He methodically worked through the problems and as he isolated faults he explained how he would fix them. He was accommodating and helpful, and a nice guy to deal with. I will use him again and would be happy to recommend him.

All installation work is guaranteed for 12 months.

Parts have 12 month manufacturers warranty.

Our Boilers have between 2-5 year manufacturer warranties. 

8am to 6pm Monday - Friday  and 9am to Noon Saturdays.

Gas Safety Certificates:-
These are charged by the number of appliances connected to the gas meter.
Boiler + Cooker or Hob = £50.00 + Vat


Parking is chargeable.

Payment can be made with either cheque or cash, required only when the work is finished.

#Plumbing Tips.

Loss of water supply.

First check if the loss is only on the kitchen cold, if it is then there is a problem with the incoming mains cold water supply.
Check your mains stopcock, usually located under the sink, under the stairs cupboard, under a trap in the floor or in a basement or cellar.
Try asking your close neighbours if they are experiencing the same problem, if so then call Thames water on 0845 9200 800 and ask if there is any works being carried out.

Dripping taps.

If your tap has a long or large necked spout, this will still hold water when the tap valves are shut off. People tend to mistakenly keep turning off the valves thinking that they are not shutting off the water.
This causes the washers to compress and the jumper pulls out of the head of the valve.
Always de-scale spout filters and shower heads every 6 months as this helps stop annoying drips.

Banging pipes.

This is call water hammering, more properties are now mains supply only, which flows at higher pressures then the traditional tank fed systems.
If you notice a banging within the system when a toilet finishes filling or when you shut off a tap, the pressure travels back down the pipe, then if there is a unsecured pipe it will jump with the pressure a knock against what ever is next to it.
This is an indication that the incoming mains pressure is too high! Installing a pressure reducing valve and set at 3 bars will protect your plumbing system.
